New KitchenAid Dishwashers to Provide More Room, Flexibility
New KitchenAid brand dishwashers are transforming the way people wash dishes with features that provide more space, flexibility and quiet cleaning – another example of consumer-relevant innovation from Whirlpool Corporation.
The most notable feature in the new dishwasher line is the FreeFlex™ Third Rack, the largest third rack available1 in the industry. It has a deep, angled design that fits 6″ glasses, mugs and bowls. Select models feature two rotating wash jets to clean items in the rack, a drying bar with tabs that help wick moisture off glasses and a removable utensil tray for cooking tools.
Other features include:
Advanced Clean Water Wash System, which uses microfiltration to continuously remove food particles during the wash and rinse cycles and circulates clean water to dishes in all three racks. It allows dirty cookware and delicate glassware to be washed together in the same load.
Adjustable Middle and Lower Racks, which add flexibility to make room for dishes in a variety of shapes and sizes like roasting pans, serving bowls, colanders and dutch ovens. The middle rack can be lowered to place large dishes inside or raised to make room for platters, pitchers, blender jars and more in the rack below.
ProWash™ Cycle, a sensor system that measures soil levels throughout the cycle and adapts wash time and water temperature as needed for tough messes or lighter loads.
Fan-Enabled ProDry™ System, which combines a heating element and fan for optimal drying performance and is on select models.
The dishwashers feature LED lighting and provide a quiet performance sound of 44 dBA, so there’s no need to wait to run a wash cycle while entertaining and enjoying meals, even in open concept kitchens.
